Dr. Ray Hachem is a highly esteemed professor in the Department of Infectious Diseases, Infection Control, and Employee Health within the Division of Internal Medicine at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX.

Education & Training
Dr. Hachem earned his MD degree in Medicine from the University of Santiago in Santo Domingo, DOM, in 1986. His extensive education and training laid a strong foundation for his illustrious career in the medical field.

Dr. Hachem has held various prestigious academic appointments throughout his career. He served as an Associate Professor in the Division of Internal Medicine at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center from 2008 to 2014. Prior to that, he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Infectious Diseases, Infection Control, and Employee Health at the same institution from 2001 to 2008. Additionally, he worked as a Research Investigator in the Department of Infectious Diseases, contributing to significant advancements in the field.
