The American Lebanese Medical Association (ALMA) was established in 1994. We want to thank you for your continuous support over the last few years.

ALMA’s many accomplishments over the years include:

Educational Growth & Collaboration

Fostering academic exchange, community building, and professional camaraderie.

Developed **exchange programs** in support of Lebanese medical students and those seeking research programs.
Organized and hosted **local educational programs** and conferences.
Fostered collaboration, built community, and cultivated friendship.

Financial & Infrastructure Support

Providing essential resources directly to medical institutions and for medication procurement.

Provided monetary support to the **eight medical schools in Lebanon**.
Donated **$40,000 in scholarships** last year alone.
Donated **$10,000 to UNICEF** to buy medication for the Ministry of Health in Lebanon.
Purchased **$25,000 of medications** to distribute to clinics in Lebanon.

Outreach & Community Partnerships

Delivering on-the-ground healthcare and collaborating with vital humanitarian groups.

Organized volunteering **mobile medical clinics** in Lebanon to provide health care to 14 underserved villages.
Partnered with the American Lebanese Community Center, which sent **$40,000 to the Lebanese Red Cross**.

Upcoming Medical Mission & Involvement

In partnership with all medical universities in Lebanon, ALMA is looking forward to conducting our **16th medical mission** in Lebanon this year:

Dates: June 6th to July 16th, 2026
Location: LAU
Services: Patients will be provided with free consultations, tests, and medications.

We would like to encourage everyone to get involved, whether by participating in the medical mission, the conference, or both. We also encourage everyone to renew their membership.
