Dr Ziad Haidar

Dr. Haidar is a highly respected expert in Maternal Fetal Medicine and is one of the most prominent physicians in Southeast Texas in this field. With years of experience managing complex obstetric, maternal, and fetal cases, Dr. Haidar gained national recognition in 2019 for supervising and successfully delivering a set of sextuplets.

Dr. Haidar has served as the medical director of the High Risk Maternal Transport Service at the Woman's Hospital of Texas, where he has earned an impeccable reputation in the local OB community. He is now bringing his expertise to his new professional home at the Pregnancy Specialty Center of Texas (PSCTX). Alongside his clinical practice, Dr. Haidar is an excellent educator and holds the position of Associate Professor at the University of Houston. His commitment to research and education is evident through his numerous publications and contributions to the field.

He completed his Ob/Gyn Residency at West Virginia University, Charleston Division, and his fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Dr. Haidar is multilingual, fluent in French and Arabic, and proficient in medical Spanish.

Dr. Haidar currently practices at the Pregnancy Specialty Center of Texas in Webster, Texas. Starting April 1, 2025, he will join Texas Maternal Fetal Medicine at The Woman’s Hospital of Texas in Houston, where he looks forward to fully sharing the vision of personalized care with attention to detail and respect for patients and referring providers.
