All Active ChaptersThe American Lebanese Medical Association (ALMA) is a non-profit Corporation established in Massachusetts on January 13, 1994 — dedicated to improving health and well-being across Lebanon's diverse communities.
Bringing together physicians and health care professionals who share Lebanese heritage to undertake concrete projects for all of Lebanon's communities.
Fostering creation of academic institutions and building a Lebanese/American Doctor's Library with advanced publications and audio-visual material.
Assisting Lebanese scientific publications to reach a wider audience and sponsoring annual medical conventions to enhance training and scientific exchange.
Organizing medical missions to Lebanon, providing health care to needy towns and villages, and conducting local educational programs and conferences.
ALMA welcomes physicians, surgeons, and health care professionals of Lebanese heritage or those with a humanitarian interest in Lebanon and its people. We are a non-profit corporation dedicated to improving the health and well-being of all of Lebanon's diverse religious and cultural communities.
